Dr. Oliver Boese

Oliver Boese has been working as a lawyer in the fields of litigation, corporate law, directors’ and officers’ liability and general commercial law since 1998.

As part of his many years of work for family businesses, Oliver Boese primarily advises their shareholders on restructuring, tax-optimized transfers of company shares, acquisitions of other companies (M&A) and the resolution of internal conflicts. When resolving conflicts, he emphasizes a holistic approach that takes into account both economic and family interests.

In disputes between shareholders or between shareholders and managing directors as well as supervisory bodies, Oliver Boese advises his clients throughout the entire process: from the initial negotiations to the preparation and holding of shareholders’ meetings to the assertion and enforcement of shareholder rights in court.

A particular focus of his work is the assertion of liability claims in court, both against (former) corporate bodies and against third parties, including in the context of corporate insolvency. He also represents managing directors and board members in the defense against unjustified directors’ and officers’ liability claims.

In addition, Oliver Boese advises and represents his clients, in particular medium-sized companies, in all matters of commercial law and general business law.
