Dr. Frederic Dachs, LL.M. (USD)

Frederic Dachs has been working as a lawyer in the areas of corporate law, litigation, D&O and compliance as well as general commercial law since 2012. He supports companies and their shareholders in conflicts and disputes in court as well as in drafting contracts.

A particular focus of his work is conflict resolution in shareholder disputes. Here, Frederic advises his clients above all on the preparation and holding of shareholders’ meetings and on the judicial enforcement of their claims.

Another focus of his work is the area of directors’ and officers’ liability (D&O). His work ranges from the defense of unjustified claims against managing directors, board members and supervisory board members to the assertion of claims for companies and insolvency administrators against (former) executive bodies.

As former compliance counsel for a globally active company in Switzerland, Frederic also advises his clients preventively on the creation and im-plementation of compliance programs and on internal investigations.

Frederic is also co-founder of a German legal tech start-up and can therefore draw on his own experience when advising start-ups and young entre-preneurs. He supports them from the foundation to the preparation and implementation of financing rounds (venture capital) to the sale of the company (exit). He also advises his clients on the development and legally compliant structuring of new, digital business models.
